A Note on the “Intern Advantage”: When you work with an intern, you aren’t just getting one therapist; you are getting a team. Your therapist meets weekly with seasoned supervisors to review your care, meaning you receive an incredibly high level of thought, energy, and clinical expertise dedicated to your healing.

Insurance Information
We do not accept insurance directly.
Because our center is a teaching clinic staffed by master’s-level interns, insurance companies typically do not allow us to panel with them directly. However, choosing out-of-pocket care with our interns offers a few unique benefits:

No Diagnosis Required: Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to pay for treatment. Working with us means your care remains completely private and tailored to you, not a diagnostic manual.

No Session Limits: You and your therapist decide how long your healing journey lasts, not an insurance adjuster.
Can I use my Out-of-Network (OON) benefits?
In some cases, we can provide you with a monthly itemized receipt (called a Superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Important: Every insurance plan is different, and many do not reimburse for services provided by clinical interns. We strongly recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card prior to your first session and asking: “Does my plan reimburse for out-of-network mental health services provided by a supervised clinical intern?”
Forms of Payment & Policies
To keep the process as simple as possible, we utilize a secure, HIPAA-compliant online portal for all financial transactions.

Accepted Payments: All major credit cards, debit cards, and Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.

Cancellation Policy: We reserve your session time specifically for you. We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a standard cancellation fee of $[X].
